Overview
The London Borough of Hounslow have identified multiple small sites, including garage sites, owned by the Council that have the potential to be redeveloped for affordable homes. The site at Florence Gardens is one of many small sites that we have identified as a potential space to develop extra properties.
These homes will be part of the Council’s Pledge to secure the delivery of 5,000 homes by 2022. The new homes will be provided for local people, which will reduce those on our housing waiting list and help many to take their first steps into homeownership.
The Council have invited Cromwood Housing Group a registered provider of social housing to explore the possibility of redeveloping the site to deliver new homes on the garages site in Florence Gardens. This site will be well-designed to meet the Council’s ambitions to become energy efficient.
What Is Being Proposed?
The proposal is for the demolition of the existing garages and the development of 4 new homes which consist of two 1-bedroom flats and two 2-bedroom flats. All units will have amenity spaces, cycle and bin storage.
For further information on the proposed redevelopment, please refer to the Design Development Document below.
